Jul 28, 2009 – Yellowstone National Park, WY – My last morning was truly one of the best mornings I’ve had in my life. We packed up the car so we could drive to the airport for a 7:30 AM flight so we had to get a very early start. We got to see the sun rise and illuminate one of the most beautiful mountains I’ve personally witnessed. The Grand Tetons. I made Jess keep pulling over because I couldn’t get enough photos! I made my flight with about 2 minutes before the final boarding call! Well worth the risk! I love forward to returning to Wyoming!

Grand Prismatic – After my girls dropped me off they met up with the family and hit this beautiful natural hot pool.

Jul 27, 2009 – Yellowstone National Park, WY – Pebbles Creek Trail – In July I was able to go hiking with my father in law Dave, brother in law Chaz, and cousin David while up in Yellowstone national park. This was my first trip to Yellowstone and I had no idea what was waiting for me on this trail! Hiking up a 10,000 foot mountain was an eye opening experience but what laid on the other side of the mountain was some beautiful mountains that made the hike well worth it!

My very first geyser was a grand one! Grand Geyser certainly keep us on our heals as we waited for about 2 hours to watch a fantastic show!

The ran didn’t keep us from enjoying the show from Grand Geyser!

A gorgeous hot spot! I didn’t touch the water but I know it was well over 100 degrees!

One of the small geysers that we could actually get close too for a great shot.

The Dome Geyser! We waited a while in hopes of a show but no luck!

Yellowstone Day 1

I had the honor of accompanying my in-laws on their family vacation up to Yellowstone National park over the weekend. This was truly an eye opening experience witnessing some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen in my 32 years. I look forward to making trips like this in the future and growing as a scenery and nature photographer.

It didn’t take me long to pull the car over to start photographing the sunset!

My favorite photo of the day! The blue colors of the evening skies is hands down the my favorite memories from the trip.
