One of my favorite photos of the event! 2008 Olympic individual all-around gold medalist Nastia Liukin! We don’t have this sort of access during competition unless we mount a remote camera and even then…we are still limited. I was very excited to be able to get some of these great angles!

Women’s VISA Championships – Day 1

Aug. 13th I had the opportunity to shoot the first day of women’s competition at the VISA Championships at the American Airlines Center in Dallas Texas. This was an incredible event and first of it’s kind for me to photograph. Needless to say I learned a tremendous amount about gymnastics and the dedication of these athletes. Photographing this event was truly an honor.
